Spiros and Lana are at the heart and soul of DesignLab in Adelaide graphic design. They started the agency in 2005 bringing a wide-range of Australian and international experience in the private and public sectors. Raymond joined them a few years ago and is now an integral part of the team.
Spiros Giannos – Design Director
Spiros started DesignLab to answer a marketplace need for a more flexible, targeted and collaborative approach to commercial design in Adelaide Graphic Design. He has worked in numerous industries including publishing, entertainment and editorial – for example: The Adelaide Review, Rip It Up, Multicultural SA and Ministry of Sound in the United Kingdom. Working closely with Lana at DesignLab, Spiros is responsible for conceptual design and development and client collaboration.
Lana Giannos – Studio Manager
Lana joined with extensive experience in multi-disciplinary design and implementation, including for Adelaide Convention Tourism Authority (ACTA), British Aerospace (BAE Australia), Royal Automobile Association (RAA), South Australian Tourism Commission (SATC) and Elstree Film Studios in the United Kingdom. At DesignLab, Lana is responsible for design strategy and identity management. She manages the design team, ensuring the integrity of the creative concept is maintained throughout the design process.
Raymond Capozzi – Graphic Designer
Ray’s graphic design skills have seen him earn six years experience in publication and digital design for media publications as well as three years creating and executing branding and collateral design for various clients, from his own studio. Ray’s passions lie in page layout and typography and he regularly utilises his specialised skills to apply design elements to digital platforms. He has created marketing materials and visual PR tools for clients including Federation Centres, Kennet Builders, Iocane, James Thredgold Jeweller, Precious Cargo and Cotto Expresso.
